About WaSize

Our mission

Our goal is simple: help you prepare an image for WhatsApp quickly, without creating an account, adding a watermark or sending a private photo to an image-processing server.

WaSize performs resizing and compression in your browser. That design choice is central to the product, not a marketing extra. A family photo, profile picture or work graphic should not need to leave your device just to become the right shape.

What you can do here

WaSize includes practical presets for profile pictures, Status images, group and channel icons, stickers, catalog images and common chat-photo uses. You can crop or fit an image, preview circular framing, add a blurred or solid background, select JPG, PNG or WebP, and aim for a target file size.

The tool is intended for everyday users as well as creators and small businesses that need predictable output without learning a full design application.

How we earn your trust

We separate requirements from recommendations

Not every popular “WhatsApp size” is an official rule. Where WhatsApp publishes a requirement—such as sticker dimensions and file limits—we cite the primary source. Where a size is simply a practical export choice, we label it as a recommendation.

We explain what the tool actually does

We do not claim that WaSize can prevent every form of compression or guarantee identical output on every phone. WhatsApp, browsers and operating systems change. We explain the tradeoffs between crop and fit, lossy and lossless formats, and source quality and file size.

We test the product, not just the wording

Our editorial standard starts with the working tool. Presets must correspond to actual editor settings, privacy statements must match the code path, and help text must be understandable on a phone. We review source links and date material guidance so readers can judge freshness.

We correct mistakes

If a platform requirement changes or a page is unclear, we want to know. Send the source and a short explanation to eldhopaulose125@gmail.com. We review credible corrections and update the page when needed.

How WaSize is funded

WaSize may use advertising, including Google AdSense, to help cover hosting and development costs. Advertising does not determine our technical recommendations. If we later use affiliate links, they will be clearly disclosed near the relevant link.

Independent project

WaSize is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We refer to them only to explain what the tool is designed to help with.
