These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of WaSize. By using the website or downloading an image created with the tool, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use WaSize.

About WaSize

WaSize is a free browser-based tool for resizing, cropping, fitting and compressing images for WhatsApp and similar uses. It is operated by the WaSize team in India. WaSize is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.

Who may use the website

You must be legally able to agree to these terms in your location. Children should use WaSize only with a parent or guardian where local law requires it. The site is not directed to children under 13.

Permitted use

You may use WaSize for lawful personal or commercial image preparation. You are responsible for the images you select, your right to use them, the settings you choose and how you use downloaded files.

You must not:

• use WaSize to violate privacy, copyright, trademark or other rights;
• create, distribute or facilitate illegal, abusive, deceptive or harmful material;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or bypass the site's security or access controls;
• introduce malware, automated attacks, scraping that creates unreasonable load, or misleading redirects;
• reverse engineer or copy protected parts of the site except where law expressly permits it;
• misrepresent an association with WaSize, WhatsApp or Meta; or
• use the site in a way that violates applicable law.

Your images and other user content

Images selected in the editor are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to WaSize. You keep all rights you already have in those images. WaSize does not acquire ownership of them.

The site does not currently offer public comments or user profiles. If a public submission feature is added, you must own or have permission to submit the content. You would grant WaSize only the limited rights needed to host, display and moderate that submission. We may remove unlawful, abusive or irrelevant submissions.

Intellectual property

The WaSize name, original site design, interface, code, text, graphics and branding are owned by or licensed to WaSize and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may not reproduce or redistribute substantial parts of the website as a competing service without written permission.

WhatsApp, Meta and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. References describe compatibility or intended use and do not imply sponsorship.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep WaSize useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, compatibility with every browser, preservation of a particular feature or error-free output. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal or product reasons.

Third-party services and links

WaSize may link to or use services supplied by third parties, including hosting, analytics and advertising providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. A link does not mean WaSize endorses every statement, product or practice on the destination site.

No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WaSize is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the WaSize team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of data, revenue, goodwill or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the site. Our total liability for a claim connected with this free service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid WaSize for the service in the previous twelve months or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

You remain responsible for keeping original copies of your files and checking downloaded dimensions, quality and format before relying on them.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify the WaSize team against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the site, your violation of these terms, or content you use without necessary rights. This clause does not apply where prohibited by consumer law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in India may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or local jurisdiction rules that apply to you. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

Termination

We may restrict access when we reasonably believe a user has violated these terms, threatened the site or created legal risk. Sections that naturally should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and dispute terms—will continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the service or law changes. The updated date will appear at the top. Continued use after a revision means you accept the revised terms to the extent allowed by law.
