Private, browser-only editor

Make a sticker that’s ready when you are.

Turn a photo, drawing or reaction into a clean 512 × 512 WebP sticker. Nothing is uploaded, there’s no account to create, and the download only unlocks after the file passes the size and format checks.

How to make your sticker

You don’t need to learn a full design app. Make the few edits that matter, then let the export check handle the technical part.

  1. 1

    Pick a clear photo

Choose an image where the person, pet or reaction is large enough to recognize when it shrinks.

  2. 2

    Frame the subject

Drag, zoom and rotate until the important part sits away from the outer edge.

  3. 3

    Clean it up

Remove a simple edge color automatically, restore any detail caught by the selection, then drag your caption into place.

  4. 4

    Download the checked WebP

WaSize tries several quality levels and only offers a WhatsApp-ready download when the real file is 512 × 512 WebP and 100 KB or less.

What “ready” means

We check the file, not the filename.

Renaming a PNG to .webp doesn’t convert it. WaSize inspects the encoded header, opens the finished file again, confirms the 512 × 512 dimensions and checks the byte size before download.

Static stickers in WhatsApp’s official Android sample use WebP, measure exactly 512 × 512 pixels and stay at or below 100 KB. A white outline is often helpful, but it’s a design recommendation rather than a universal rule.

Straight answers

Before you start

What size should a WhatsApp sticker be?

Use an exact 512 × 512 pixel canvas. For a static Android sticker pack, the official sample requires WebP at 100 KB or less. WaSize checks all three before calling the WebP download ready.

Does WaSize upload my photo?

No. Your browser opens the image, applies the edits and creates the download locally. The image content isn’t sent to WaSize. Normal page analytics, if enabled, are separate and must never include your image or filename.

Can this page add a sticker directly to WhatsApp?

No. It prepares the asset. Importing a pack uses supported WhatsApp features or a compatible native sticker app. A website shouldn’t pretend that downloading a WebP or ZIP silently installs a pack.

Can I make animated stickers here?

Not in this first release. A browser needs a real animated WebP encoder and frame-level validation. The current editor deliberately creates static stickers only; it won’t save one still frame and label it animated.

Why can’t my photo fit under 100 KB?

Detailed photos, noise and complex transparency can take more space. Try removing more background, using a tighter crop or simplifying the image. WaSize lowers WebP quality gradually, but it won’t offer an oversized file as WhatsApp-ready.
